China National Association of Engineering Consultants (CNAEC) was constituted in 1992 as a non-governmental professional organization registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of PRC, composed of engineering consulting firms, consulting engineers and other related professionals.

In 1996, CNAEC was admitted into FIDIC as a full member.

Enjoying a position of influence with the government and reputation of leader representative of the Chinese engineering consulting industry in the national and international arenas, CNAEC has been recognized as:

-    the Voice of the engineering consulting industry,

-    the Resource on business practices and,

-    the Advocate for promotion and protection of their business interests.
